MILKWEED (The Movie)

An animated feature adaptation of Jerry Spinelli's award-winning young adult novel, “Milkweed,” is in production through nonprofit MPGL Entertainment, founded in 2019 by Gail Rosenblum. The film follows a mysterious little boy who steals food to keep a Jewish family alive in the Warsaw ghetto. When completed, the film will be offered for FREE, along with dozens of lesson plans focused on empathy and Upstander behavior, to middle school teachers through the Milkweed Film + Holocaust Education Project.
