WHAT'S THE WORST THING THAT COULD HAPPEN?
My very wise father, Sidney Rosenblum of blessed memory, taught me this one. It's my favorite coping tool, and I hope it becomes among your favorite coping tools, too.
TO CHANGE A RELATIONSHIP, CHANGE THE PRONOUN
I stumbled upon a powerful relationship-booster recently while indulging in my favorite sport.
N.N.I., ALSO KNOWN AS “NO NEW INFORMATION”
You may have noticed by now that human relationships, while being essential to our happiness and survival, are also often a pain in the ass. Sometimes, you desperately want people to do the right thing and, guess what?
BUY YOUR OWN FLOWERS
This was a really, really hard one for me to come to terms with but now I can’t wait for Farmers Market days.
ASK THE STUPID QUESTION
In last week’s blog post, I assured you that no one is thinking about you. Ouch! Wait! Don’t go!
NEVER EXAGGERATE YOUR OWN IMPORTANCE
Don't worry too much about what everyone is thinking about you. Honestly? They're NOT thinking about you.

My very wise father, Sidney Rosenblum, of blessed memory, taught me this one. It's my favorite coping tool, which is why I’m starting my blog with it. I've used it for big stuff and little stuff.
Welcome to My Blog!
Looking back, it’s clear that I Did Not Learn Everything I Ever Needed to Know in Kindergarten. The only thing I learned in kindergarten is that the teacher didn't take kindly to kids who peed on their carpet square.
COUNT 3-2-1
I count myself among those who truly believe in taking the high road—where, by the way, you can always find a parking space, since so few people go there.
